The founder of ZDS Creative, Zoey Schorsch, is becoming the first American rider to take part in one of the largest charity horse races in the world, the Markel Magnolia Cup, this summer, July 30th 2026.
The Markel Magnolia Cup takes place at the historic Goodwood Racecourse in Chichester, England. This year, the cup supports the amazing work of Education Above All (EAA) Foundation, and their UK charity Educate A Child International (EACI) which is an organization that provides quality learning to children and women in communities affected by poverty, conflict, and climate disasters. Zoey is especially honored to be continuing on her philanthropic work while simultaneously riding not only for a charity she believes in but while vouching for ethical jockeying and horse training and equal treatment of female and LGBTQ+ riders.
If you would like to continue supporting ZDS Creative and our work helping the wider community please consider donating to the Education Above All:

About the collective
ZDS Creative is an arts collective founded by Zoey Schorsch, a multimedia artist whose practice has moved through mold making, bead embroidery, light play, wearable art, and just about everything in between.
Built from the ground up in Greenpoint, Brooklyn alongside photographer and artistic collaborator Talia Smith, ZDS Creative closed the original Greenpoint gallery location in February 2026, but has moved to a new locale on the Upper East Side. The new private studio is open by appointment, and taking the work everywhere else, through pop-ups, events, and collaborations across New York and beyond.
Every exhibition or event at ZDS Creative comes from a process that starts with a real conversation, between Zoey and the artists she works alongside. Over the past three years, the collectors, collaborators, workshop regulars, collage-night strangers, and opening-night faithful who kept showing up have shaped ZDS into what it is. That community is, and always has been, the whole point.
As ZDS steps into this new chapter, the Greenpoint storefront and studio doors may be closed, but the spirit that filled that room is exactly what's coming with us. We're building toward a new era of community-centered experiences: studio visits, pop-ups, gatherings near and far, and we cannot wait to do it with all of you.
